Indy spolu s Ignácom boli hlásení v obci Raslavice, spali v kukuričnom poli, neskôr sa premiestnili do Buclovian. Ľudia ich na potulkách kŕmili, takže neprišli vychudnutí – len o to tažšie sa odhytávali. Podarilo sa to až 27. 08. 2025. Prišli plní kliešťov a bĺch.

Indy, cca 1-1,5 ročný psík; pri vstupnom veterinárnom vyšetrení sa uňho potvrdila anaplazmóza, choroba prenášaná kliešťami. Začali sme s liečbou, na ktorú výborne zareagoval.

Indy je zatiaľ veľmi nedôverčivý, hryzavý, bojí sa každého dotyku, každej manipulácie s ním, na vôdzke sa nevie vôbec pohybovať.

Ignác a Indy
Tak po troch dňoch, nás vzali na milosť. Stále sa boja vôdzky, dostávajú sa do malého šialenstva, len ju zapneme o obojok. Najprv sa ju snažia rozhrýzť, potom sa ani nepohnú, pokiaľ vôdzku zase neodopneme. Boja sa ešte náhleho dotyku. Akonáhle však pochopia, že sa nič hrozné nedeje, tak sa až domáhajú ďalšieho pohladkania. Toto bude dlhšia cesta. Zrejme v živote toho pekného pramálo zažili.

10/2025 Konečne je Indy veľký maznák. Keď spozná človeka, okamžite sa zamiluje, je poslušný, maznavý, spokojný a šťastný. Pekne ide na miesto, dobre reaguje na privolanie, rád sa nechá hladkať. Na vôdzke už vie pekne chodiť, aj keď ešte potiahne, trošku chaoticky, ale už sa nebojí, aj sa venčí na vôdzke a teší sa na prechádzku.

Indy ešte potrebuje čas a trpezlivosť a stane sa z neho dokonalý spoločník. <3

Indy and Ignác were reported in town Raslavice, they were sleeping in corn field, later moved to Buclovany. People walking through those areas fed them, so they didn’t arrive emaciated – that made it harder to capture them. We managed to get them on 27. 08. 2025. They were full of ticks and fleas.

Indy, around 1 – 1,5 years old male dog, during the first veterinary check-up confirmed anaplasmosis, illness caused by ticks. We began treatment, that was effective.

So far, Indy is very suspicious of humans, he bites and is scared of any touch, every manipulation. He cannot walk on a leash.

Ignác and Indy
They accepted us after 3 days. They’re still afraid of a leash, going a little crazy everytime we hook it on their collar. At first they’re trying to chew through it, then they refuse to move, until we remove the leash. They’re still scared of sudden touch. Once they realise it’s heartfelt, they demand more pets. It will take them a while. It would seem they didn’t have the happiest life.

10/2025 Indy is finally cuddly. When he gets to know a person, he falls in love immediately. He’s obedient, cuddly, happy and joyful. He finds his place, runs when called, receives cuddles happily. He walks on a leash without issues, though he has a tendency to pull every now and then. Bit chaotic, but not scared anymore, does his business, gets excited for walks.

Indy needs just a tad more time and patience, and he’ll become the perfect companion. <3

He is a great fit for kids, seniors, he wouldn’t mind another dog in his house – but he will form a strong attachment. He hunts mice, we didn’t check his behaviour around cats.
